Trueplane reads the fused gravity vector from the accelerometer and gyroscope rather than raw acceleration, so it can tell a genuine tilt from a passing knock. While the device rests still it averages a full second of data at 100 Hz, and a two-position routine calibrates out your device's own sensor offset.
